Executive Office Refresh
A Professional Office Designed to Feel Personal
This commercial office refresh focused on transforming a functional government office into a warm, comfortable space that still felt appropriate for a professional setting. Rather than replacing everything, we worked with several of the existing furnishings and meaningful personal pieces, then layered in color, texture, artwork and styling to give the office a much more finished and intentional feel.
The result is a workspace that balances professionalism with personality—creating a welcoming place for both everyday work and meetings while taking advantage of the incredible city views.
The Challenge
-
The office felt functional but unfinished and lacked a cohesive design
-
Existing wood office furniture needed to remain
-
The space needed to work for both daily tasks and meetings with visitors
-
Numerous personal photographs, awards, artwork and meaningful pieces needed to be incorporated
-
The design needed to feel warm and individual while remaining appropriate for a government office setting
The Result
-
A warmer, more inviting professional workspace
-
A rich wall color that gives the office depth without competing with the existing wood finishes
-
Comfortable lounge seating that creates a secondary conversation area
-
Existing artwork, family photos and equestrian pieces thoughtfully incorporated throughout the room
-
Accessories and textiles that connect the warm wood, deep green, plum and rust tones
-
A finished office that feels collected, personal and professional rather than overly corporate
